Spring has sprung, and it’s time to capture the vibrance and energy of the incoming class of 2024! With the weather warming up and nature in full bloom, there’s no better backdrop for stunning senior portraits. Take this as your signal to schedule with Kim Stiffler, an award winning senior photographer in Wichita, KS. We utilized the beautiful Garvey Center in downtown Wichita for most of the backdrops. The area in front has waterfalls, beautiful tulips, and some flowering trees. It’s a nature oasis in the heart of downtown Wichita! First up are Emma and Ella, gorgeous twins!
It was SO windy this day, but we made it work! Sometimes you just need to be patient and wait for the wind gust to die down. We won’t talk about how long I edited the hair out of faces. As long as the wind isn’t blowing your face off, it can actually work to our advantage by blowing hair, or adding movement to your dress! (Just not too much)
Jenna was a trooper, as it was cold, and she was freezing, but you would never know from her pictures!
As a senior photographer in Wichita, KS, I love capturing the personalities of my seniors. A wistful look, soft smile, snorting laugh, playful attitude, I love it all. Senior portraits with me are so much fun, because I will act like a crazy woman if I have to to make you laugh! But more often than not, I just need to say, “OK, now give me a serious look.” That usually makes everyone laugh! I love that Emma got silly, and held the flowers up like a bat. She’s a softball star, can you tell?
Next up is Grace! I loved finding out that she attended the elementary school I taught at for 15 years! Unfortunately, she wasn’t in my class, but I get her now! The wind really worked for us in the 3 photos below. I LOVE the serious one – she has definite model vibes!
Over the course of the week, the tulips seemed to be fading at The Garvey Center, so we moved to Botanica. Believe it or not, this was all done without going in. The front entryway and the parking lot is beautiful! Botanica is such a gorgeous place; if you haven’t been lately, you definitely need to check it out.
Don’t you love Xania’s pink dress? It pairs so beautifully with the pink and purple tulips. Swoon worthy!
Adrianne was soo much fun to work with, and she killed it with her pink pants! She has such a fun vibe, and I can’t wait to work with her more!
Adry’s blue sundress was perfect for her spring mini session! She is such a doll, and full of giggles. Oh, and also, she is a track running rockstar!
